Commission Custom Artwork
A quick overview of my commission info. See the full Commission FAQ below for full details.
To request a commission, review my Commission FAQ below, then send an e-mail to angela(at)angelasasser.com with the following information in your request:
- A Short Brief – A summary of your job including relevant details of the visuals needed, genre, media, size, deadline, etc.
- A Budget – Your allotted budget range for the work.
- Commercial Use – A note about whether commercial use is requested or not. If so, list the rights which you would prefer to keep with the art. (ie. the more rights you wish to have transferred to you, the higher the price quote will likely be).
Commercial Commissions
I am particularly interested in and will give preference to accepting Tarot deck illustration, New Age, folk horror, and TTRPG / game / entertainment clients.

Commission FAQ
If you require fully fleshed out design concepts with multiple options and multiple feedback rounds, we will need to negotiate a higher fee.
I DO NOT own your character, only the art which I have made of them. Copyrights for art can be fully transferred upon request, which usually means a higher quote.
- Send a Request. You will send your commission inquiry and details via email to angela(at)angelasasser.com. Your request will be approved or denied within 3 business days. I may deny a request if I do not feel I can adequately render it for you or if it falls within my DONT's list. When in doubt, email me if you are unsure of my content restrictions.
- Reserve your slot. Before your slot is considered reserved, you will need to have a signed commission agreement contract on file with me and to pay for your commission in full if the price is less than $150 (more than $150 can paid via a payment plan). I will wait 1 business week for your contract to be signed before your slot is given to the next requestee on the list, unless an extension is otherwise negotiated.
- Work considerations. Work will begin only after a contract outlining the project's specifics is signed by both parties to define our mutual expectations and rights usages and payment is recieved. Payment Details: Payment is expected up front with 30% being nonrefundable before the Rough Sketch is approved and only 50% being nonrefundable, should the process be cancelled after the Rough Sketch approval. I accept payment via Paypal/Square invoice, Cashapp, Venmo, and Etsy reserved listing. Whichever is most convenient for the client. A commission has three phases: Phase 1 - Sketching/Thumbnailing - You will be offered a few pose options to choose from that you will approve. Phase 2 - Rough Sketch - A more developed version of the image will be provided for your feedback. You can change the image as much as you like at this point. Phase 3 - Final Polish - Once the First Draft is approved to be polished, only a limited amount of changes are allowed upon recieving the final polished version. Revisions & Revision Fees: You can ask for as many changes as you like before the Rough Sketch phase. However, after the First Draft is approved and the image is polished, only 1 revision is allowed before you will be charged a revision fee of $50 per revision. A revision on a polished image at this point is defined as a single email request with a summary of requested changes. This pricing reflects the increased difficulty of making final phase changes on images in a polished state. Final Files: Once you have approved the final image, you will be provided with a download link to a digital file in a high resolution bundle of JPG, PNG, and PDF formats unless other file formats are requested.
Personal Purposes include:
- A free stream or podcast that is making money from ads or crowdfunded distribution (like Patreon). The key is it must be available for free with no paywalled elements
- Decoration for a product being used for a personal project, personal campaign site shared between friends, etc.
Commercial Purposes include:
- Products, merch, etc. sold with the intention to recieve funds or available only behind paywalls
- Streams accessible only behind paywalls
- Decoration for a product being used expressly for business/commercial purposes, like a shop, packaging, brand, or company site
These uses include and are limited to the display of the created art in my online portfolios, skechbooks, and publications of my own authorship. I will not license out your commissioned art for uses beyond this aforementioned basic scope unless granted permission by you in writing.
Examples of extended usage of commissioned art which would require your permission in writing include usages such as making prints available in my print shops on Etsy/INPRNT/etc, re-publishing the art in themed art books/zines not published by me, inclusion in printed art collections like Spectrum, etc.
If you are seeking exclusive usage rights and permanent copyright transferral, these rights will cost extra and can be negotiated for your budget and usage needs.
